Regulation D Limit

Heartland FCU adheres to *Regulation D. Reg D requires credit unions to limit the types and frequency of certain transaction types for savings accounts (savings, vacation, education, holiday, money market savings, or Fast Pass savings). You may perform no more than six (6) of these types of transactions in total from a savings account each calendar month: checks; overdrafts from savings; ACH; pre-authorized or automatic transfers; online, mobile, text, fax, or audio response transfers; telephone, email, or fax requests. Transactions that do not count toward the limit are withdrawals or transfers at an ATM, transactions made in person at a credit union, or withdrawals made by telephone if the check is mailed to the member. Once an account has reached the six permitted transaction limit any additional withdrawals or transfers will incur a fee.
